Parco Regionale dell’Appia Antica – Area Tor Fiscale - Regional Protected Area

Tor Fiscale is a 14-hectare area of the Appia Antica Regional Park, characterized by Roman countryside vegetation (scrubland, meadows, orchards, vegetable gardens, olive groves), waterways such as Fosso dell’Acqua Mariana, and historical infrastructure including six Roman aqueducts, a Renaissance aqueduct, and the Torre di Fiscale medieval tower. The park combines ecological, historical, and recreational value, with playgrounds, picnic areas, bars, museums, and guided educational activities. Management is coordinated by Ente Parco Regionale dell’Appia Antica.
